I went to National American University (on Colorado Blvd) to get my CNA last year. I couldn't find anywhere to take a class:uhoh3:...now I know they are offered at Arapahoe CC and other CC's in the metro area. It cost $500.00. I had classes 3 days a week for a month. Labs were in the the morning and lecture in the afternoon or ocassionally reversed. I had a wonderful instructor (RN with lots of hospital experience and a great sense of humor). We did our clinicals at a VERY nice Long Term Care facility in Denver. Also took our state boards at NAU which was convenient since you are familiar with how to work the beds, where things were, and you just felt better not being in a strange environment.

Does anyone recommend a good school for CNA training in the Denver area? I am considering becoming a CNA while taking my pre-requisites for a BSN. Thanks!
