CNA shortage?

Published

I was wondering with all the talk of the so called "nursing shortage" That everyone says that we are in and will be happening in the future. I wonder if people are thinking that the same thing will go for CNAs as well? Or do you think instead of 30 residents they just will make us take on 60 and say we can do it because they can't afford to hire anyone, and after all our job is not all that difficult right.

I don't know who "everyone" is because that myth has been pretty well laid to rest at present.

I've noticed a huge turnover in CNAs at the places I've seen and I'm not surprised... it's right at the top of my list of jobs that is grossly undercompensated for the labor it requires and its importance.

I think a good CNA will never want for a job though the body will limit longevity.

I sure did not mean anyone in the nursing feild who know the truth. I was talking about the nieve people, the people trying to claim there is one to make money ext. The ones that do not know what they are talking about.
