Hi, this is my first post here! ?
I was wondering if it's reasonable to do a 5-10 week CNA program during my first semester of college as a pre-nursing major? Has anyone experienced this? If so, please share your thoughts and tips. Or anyone in general, please feel free to type your opinions as well.
I'm just worried if it'll be too overwhelming for me since I'd have to juggle my college courses and the program at the same. Though, it's something I want to do, I just need to effectively manage my time.
Thank you so much in advance.

I’m currently taking 5 of my undergraduate classes and starting the PCA program on Monday. I’ll let you know how it goes!

Maybe this is something you could schedule to coincide with or overlap with a school break. For example, many colleges are finishing fall courses at Thanksgiving. If that is the case for you, you would be off for the month of December, so maybe that would be a good time to do a CNA course. Or maybe this would be best saved for the Summer.
On the other hand, if you are planning to work when you are finished with your CNA and feel you can handle that, then just treat the CNA program like a job. You will need to be very diligent in scheduling study times and class times to not fall behind in your regular courses.
@KayC thank you so much for replying aw! its been a while since I posted this kinda but little update, I was actually able to do a CNA program last Summer and ahh thankfully I am officially a CNA :,) again I extremely appreciate you for commenting and I am wishing you the absolute best for your journey.
