cna online?

I was wondering if anyone is takeing cna classes online? i was takeing classes at a community college but it was to hard to keep up with studing and takeing care of a premie. if anyone knows of an online college or instiute that has the program please let me know.

Hi Faith, I dont know of any online classes. While it may be possible to do the theory part online I would assume you do need to find actual classes for hands on stuff, working with a mannequin etc. I dont know that you can avoid that. Maybe check your State's Health website, they usually have a list of accredited schools (like say Excelsior or Empire for NY).

Honestly I would take time to take care of my preemie, you are young :) and time that time will go by fast. Do you have family that could help? or a daycare center that has experience with this that you could trust. How old is your child? Some wont take them until they have passed a certain age.

I understand because Im 38 now and my preemie (last of 3) is almost 5 years old and you couldnt tell he was a preemie, yes Im starting late but Im glad I sacrificed and took that time for him. It's my time now.
