CNA & nursing school with misdemeanor

Hi, im currently a pre-nursing student trying to apply to be a CNA in Virginia but I am scared because in April 2018 I was stupid and attempted to shoplift items from Jcpenny's. I was charged with a petit larceny misdemeanor. It is my first and only charge and since then I have stressed about it and regretted it so much. What are my chances of being a nurse & even doing a CNA program?
