As long as a practice is willing to hire you in that capacity. You work under the doctor's supervision regardless, and that is how it was done in the beginning. Doctor hires someone and supervises them in the performance of the tasks the doctor wants them to perform. That is how my daughter was hired when she was still in LVN school.

Hello Everyone!
I am curious to know if anyone has any idea if I can be a medical assistant while I wait to take the NCLEX-PN. I recently took it and did not pass.
However I of course am planning on retaking the exam because there is no way I am going to let that bring me down. My question is can a VN graduate get a job as a MA, although I do not have an actual MA certification? If anyone has any feedback it would be greatly appreciated!
