CNA Knowledge Test

Published

I passed my Clinicals test But I have to retake my knowledge test. I was very shocked". I reread the questions and answers 3 times. I don't know if it was nerves of what! I did poorly on the part of Basic Nursing Skills and Providing Specialized Care. I came home reread my cna book for questions that I wasn't sure of but my book didn't cover the questions. I do Home Health Care, I have passed all my PCT classes ( CNA, Phlembotomy and EKG). Can anyone provide any books I can get to read to help me pass my Knowledge test for CNA. or Any suggestions to help me pass the CNA knowledge Test. Awaiting my letter so I can reschedule to retake.

Thank you for any help or suggestions.:crying2:

I failed :( I did well on the actual skills but didn't pay enough attention to indirect care :( so i will have to take it again.

Yes Indirect Care is Very Important! Just work on practicing your indirect care! Don't loose heart! You will pass the next time!

Congratulation!!!!!:nmbrn:*wine:grad::clpty:

It was experiences from being nervous taking the clinical, then taking the knowledge part, my nerves was threw, I ask for a little break before I took the knowledge part. so I can focus. How do I take a national test?

The National Test which I am taking is for Patient Care Technician. It requires you to be CNA state certified , and you have to have taken classes in phlebotomy and EKG. I had to get my CNA certification to take my National Test for Patient Care Technician. I don't think there is a National Test for CNA only the state test.
