Yes, You can contact the Native American Community Services. Tell them you are a displaced worker and would like to receive free CNA training.
The agency that provides the actual CNA training is called Perrfect Nursing. The classes are Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri, from 6pm -10pm and Sat 8am - 4:30pm. The course is 6-weeks long and you receive 3-credits from CSN and your Certificate is from CSN. You will be able to take the State Board exam when you fininsh.
Hope this helps.
I went to Purrfect Nursing. The course is 6-weeks, Fast-Track program, it is accredited by CSN and you get your Certificate from the College. The cost was around $1,300.00. I Passed my State Board with no problem, ( Excellent teachers ). I have been working in a Hospital as a volunteer ( to get familiar with the Hospitals, but no direct patient care when your a volunteer ) I am also working in an LTAC. NO problem finding work. I am getting ready to take the LPN program and CSN.. after I finish the LPN program I will work it for a couple of years while I finish my RN. The information I gave about the free course was courtesy from several students who were enrolled in the program with me. I did call recently and they are overwhelmed with applicants, so you may have to pay out of pocket, but it is well worth it. Did I also mention you get College credits from CSN for taking the FastTrack program.
I did enjoy the class, and it was completely worth it. I haven't compared costs between Purrfect Nursing and CSN. However, the class being over quickly was completely worth it to me. You cannot be late or absent at all through the duration of the course, or you will be dropped without refund. Just a head's up.
