hello guys!:)
okay so am looking for cna classes in southern san diego area but before that i just want to tell you guys that basically my goal is to be a nurse and am considering southwestern and city college to get in adn program...so i need to take cna as a prerequisite..i contacted national city adult school but their next class is on march and i cant wait for two months so am researching for other institutions that offer cna classes, can you help me find them?do you you know other schools?
one more thing..
are waitinglists worth waiting for? i mean 2 to 3 years is just a long time for me,, can you refer me good rn schools where i where the possibuility of being able to get into adn program is high..lets say once you are in the waiting list, are you guaranteed a slot ion the program and all you need is to wait?am i right?
thanks

You can try ECC, San Diego ROP and Southwestern college has a CNA class that is 6 or 8 weeks long that starts next week i believe. Golden Care Academy is another school that is near City College that you can check out. Hope this helps! :)
thank you.. hmnn.. so what is essentially better on the road of becoming a a nurse? get cna or patient care technician?what is patient care technician?
im not sure what a patient care tech is but if you want to go the community college/wait list route then getting your CNA is a pre-req for a few of the colleges. personally, i chose to go the vocational school route through Kaplan college. Its the quickest and most expensive route but the best for me.
