thak you.. i wonder, whom do you actually get your instructions from? e.g what floor assigned to you, which residents should you assist etc... is it the charge nurse or somebody else and do you still do the charting to a specific resident if no resident is assigned to you specifically?

hello guys!!! i just just got hired as a cna floater.. this is going to be my first job as a cna since i graduated last year.. i have ZERO idea how it is to work as a cna floater! and it does REALLY REALLY makes me NERVOUS!!!.. what is going to be my role as a cna floater? what are the duties and responsibilties?what makes it different from an ordinary cna? what can i expect?is it hard ( some people are telling me)? how was your experienceas a floater how did you adjust to it ? How does it really work? pls enlighten me and tell me EVERYTHING about it coZ they are telling me its hard...

hello guys!:) okay so am looking for cna classes in southern san diego area but before that i just want to tell you guys that basically my goal is to be a nurse and am considering southwestern and city college to get in adn program...so i need to take cna as a prerequisite..i contacted national city adult school but their next class is on march and i cant wait for two months so am researching for other institutions that offer cna classes, can you help me find them?do you you know other schools? one more thing.. are waitinglists worth waiting for? i mean 2 to 3 years is just a long time for me,, can you refer me good rn schools where i where the possibuility of being able to get into adn program is high..lets say once you are in the waiting list, are you guaranteed a slot ion the program and all you need is to wait?am i right? thanks

thank you so much.. what am worrying about is regarding is the regional accreditation,, i know that school " maric is accredited in nursing but is not acreddited in LNL and my study would be non transferable if in case i want to pursue bsn

hi..i see you know a lot.. am considering kaplan but how true is it that they are not regionally acreditted? how can it affect me assuming i took my adn classes there? plus whats the best route to be nurse? take lvn and get the lvn-rn bridge or take adn? i already have a&p, chem, micro, psycho,socio,algeb but i took that from my home country.. whats the best school anyway?

hi im a newbie so pls help me.. :confused:i want to pursue adn ( associate degree nursing )...here in south san diego area here in southern ca... the thing is i already started my nursing course back in my homecountry(phils) for 2 sems in a internationally accredited school.. i already had anatomy and physiology, microbiology,chemistry,algebra,english communication classes,logic, sociology and psychology subjects taken... i have 2 main concerns: 1) do i still need to take up general ed subjects? given that i have already taken algebra, communicatios subjects? and also i already have most of my science prerequisites?... i know it depends on the school but i just want to know your opinions assuming my units are credited.. 2) i alreasy strarted looking up for colleges offering adn course in south san diego area here in southern ca...i tried seeing southwestern college but the waiting list freaks me out 2years! am also considering grossmont, city college of san diego but i need more research on those.. can you recommend any good schools?and on how i can keep up with the waitlist thing? pls help i need senseful answes:bowingpur

Southwestern takes 2 years waitlist for ADN! so looooong! can you recommend schools private or not that offers no or minimum waitlist but is ACCREDITED? AND also before i got here in U.S i already started a nursing course in my home country(PHILS)in a high respective school for a year.. there i took Inorganic and organic chem lec- 3 units Inorganic and organic chem lab- 2 units Anatomy and physiology lab-5 units anatomy and physiology lec-2 units Eng 1 Communication arts -3 units Eng 2 Communication arts 2-3 UNITS sociology-3 units College Algebra-3 units Microbiology and Parasitology -3 units microbiology and parasitologylab- 3 units Psychology- 3 units Theyre not evaluated yet assuming they are since i came from internationally accredited school..my average scores are mostly C's or 2.5 gpa. i just curious what type of nursing course i may consider having done those subjects..just thinking.. plus: haha.. i heard about this maric college thing the pros and the cons.i cant decide regarding that issue.. i will appreciate your concerns..CAN U GUYS GIVE ME THE BEST WAY OUT? thanks

okay so am starting to freak out..i tried seeing southwestern college for ADN program but they have their own share of waitlist like 2 years.. so loooong! some told me that private schools doesnt have waitlist with them but am not sure...can you give me schools private or not:( that doent have a waitlist? and of course is ACCREDITED so i wont have to regret..
