Just because the class is short in weeks doesn't mean it's any shorter in days spent. (one might be 3 days a week, and one might be 4). If I were you I'd ask how long the clinicals were at each place. That's more valuable than anything you read out of a book. In my state technical schools are more expensive, and are lower rated than community colleges. Alot of the technical school grads have a hard time finding jobs, so look into which school is more reputable.

Hello, I am planning to start CNA classes As soon as they are available. They are offering cna classes at a technical school her for $590 and at the local community college for $350. Before, I was worried that the classes offered at the community college would offer less, seeing that the price is way cheaper. I posted a thread and someone said that doesn't mean anything... anyone agrees with that? And also I found out today that the community college classes are shorter also(8wks). I am worried because I do want to take the cheaper classes but I would rather get all that I can receive from these classes. I don't want to lack anything less than what another class would have offered. Can anyone tell me if there may be a difference in the two? And also Can someone please Tell me exactly how these programs usually work. I know that there is first the classes then the clinical, and then the certification test, I guess... I want to know the whole process that I will have to go through. Can someone help!?
