I took a CNA class 10 years ago, will be starting my first semester of RN program next week and I am really interested in becoming a Licensed CNA to be able to get a job at a hospital.
I can't fit a CNA class into my schedule, so is it possible for me to challenge the exam? I am in California.
What options do I have?

Most hospitals in my area will hire those in their first clinicals of Nursing school. I would check with the HR department at the hiring hospital and have them elaborate on whether if that would be an exception to not having a CNA licensure. Most would put that under the job requirement though.
