For any of you that are currently enrolled in the program, do you have any suggestions on where to live? I will be coming in from out of state for the may start and am having a difficult time looking for housing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

It really depends on what you are looking for. I moved from out of state and I live in the university area near UNC Charlotte, I am 25 min (without traffic) from CMC-Main/ODS where we do a lot of our clinicals and about 30 min away from the new classroom (most of our classes are at the Carolina's Health science building and not UNCC). Student housing was not an option for me because I have 2 dogs. Rent is very similar throughout the charlotte area but you definitely get more for your money the farther away you are from Uptown. If you don't like to drive very often I would live between main and the CHS building because you don't spend much time at UNCC (maybe a class a semester), but really it just depends on what you want.

@Rosarisepond thank you so much for that information! It is very helpful. Are the “new” classrooms at the Carolinas health science buildings located at 2110 Water Ridge Parkway, towards the direction of the airport? That is the only place I can find online

That is the correct address. Good luck on your search!

If any current student would mind describing their first few semesters and how they like the layout of the program, how has covid impacted the didactic portion, and just overall experience I would really appreciate it haven’t been able to find much online and am looking to gain some insight on the program ☺️
