I was wondering if I could get some feedback from some of you all.
On my job we are allowed to do a "CLIP" project to receive a monetary bonus if the state has the money at the end of the year.
I just did one on Needlestick Safety and Prevention.
For next year, I was thinking of doing one about nurses attitudes, bullying, gossiping, tattling, and just generally not getting along well with each other.
I would like to present it in a way that would be positive and give solutions to these problems without pointing fingers at anyone.
Do you think that this is too contoversial to do in a medical department of just 16 nurses? We have 13 LPNs and 3 RNs.
There is constantly some kind of griping, b******g, tattling, bullying, going on. Mostly it is on the dayshift, but it falls over on evenings at times. Seems like there is alot of animosity between the 2 shifts, but generally, we get along better on evenings than they do on the day shift.
Any suggestions on what to come up with to talk about ways to get along better? Or should I stay out of it, since most of it is centered on dayshift, and I'm an evening nurse?
