Hello,
I attended the LPN program in Muncie about 2 years ago. I am not sure what the summer semester does because I actually started out in the part time program, and tranferred to the full time in the spring semester. But for those last 2 semesters, we had something about every day. I can't recall if each clinical rotation was 6 or 8 weeks at a time. But we all rotated from place to place, so everyone could get a chance at the hospital. They do not have alot of room at the hospital d/t Ball State students as well. Clinicals were 2-3 days a week, and always started at 7a promptly. At times they had an evening group that began at 3p. People did not get to choose which they were in. Obviously you are supposed to stay for the whole shift, but we usually left about 1p or 2p, or 8 or 9p depending on the instructor, and if everyone got there duties done. The days we had class, the classes usually started betwee 8a-9a, depending on what section you were covering and who the intructor was. We were usually out of classes by 3p, but many day's well before that....and a few days were over that. I'ms sorry I can't be more specific, but this is how I recall it. Kind of a day to day thing, and things changed alot too, if I remember correclty. I just applied for the Muncie transitional RN, I have my fingers crossed. Are you already in the program?
