students at NMT and ATL tech were have you done your Clinicals?

I'm in my first nursing quarter at NMT, and we are going our clinicals at two nursing homes in Cartersville -- Starcrest, and Maple Ridge. There is a guy on this forum who is further into the program than I, and he can help you out with where we're going later. ;)

I believe i'm the guy your referring to lol........

I've been to both Starcrest and Mapleridge......... We have also been to Woodstock and Ross Memorial nursing homes.........

Cartersville Medical Center, Douglasville Hospital, Paulding County Hospital, Childrens Health Care of Atlanta (town center, west cobb, and north point areas) Woodstock Health Dept., Northside Hospital, North West GA Regional (in Rome for mental health nursing).............

They are trying to get us into Grady and Kennestone again but those are hard to get since so many other schools use them for clinicals................

I've just finished the program at Atlanta tech, and we did our clinicals at crest view nursing home the last 3 weeks of 2nd quarter. Then the 3rd 4th and 5th quarter we were at grady every wed thur and fri.

I graduate North Metro next week besides the places listed above, my class also went to:Wellstar Urgent Care(different locations), Cartersville Peds, Kenstone, Hospice(in patient and out patient), Dialysis clinics, a couple of different doctor's offices, a children's mental hospital(sorry forgot the name) and a few other places I have forgotten. They really try to give a wide experience base, that is so different than some schools in this area.
