Hello all,
I am a registered nurse from Saudi Arabia with BSN degree in nursing. I am working in a coronary care unit. I am willing to get my master degree to be a clinical specialist nurse in cardiology field. I need your recommendations guys about the universities providing such courses in US ?
Thank you

Are you currently working and licensed in the US? One of the requirements of many (if not all) graduate nursing programs is current licensure. Additionally, you may be having trouble finding programs based on search terms- try using a search engine for "clinical nurse specialist" programs.

In the US, Clinical Nurse Specialist programs must now conform to the Consensus Model, a framework that outlines how APRN's such as Clinical Nurse Specialists should be licensed, certified, and educated including the minimum requirement for clinical content for specific programs. As a result, you will probably find it hard to find a program specific for Cardiology alone.
The Consensus Model now requires a broad based CNS curricula that encompasses separate age group-related programs or tracks in Adult and Gerontology, Pediatrics, and Neonates. That said, majority of existing programs are now just Adult and Gerontology CNS tracks which could potentially fit what you are looking for if you can ask for additional Cardiology rotations in addition to what is now required in the broad-based content of this program.
