Hello,
I have a couple more weeks of my first semester as a nursing student in a BSN program. Here's my dilemma:
Our university requires all students to carry with them a PDA with numerous software programs such as drug guides, diagnosis, tabers, etc. However I have a Ipod touch, but am unable to get a useful program- a clinical resource pocket guide, covering steps for a sterile wet to dry, bedpans, bedbaths, inserting indwelling catheters, and thousands of other important clinical skills. I am wandering if there is a new textbook that I can get that has clinical skills, and procedures with pictures to help get me as close to perfection as possible. I am currently on a Med-surg ,PACU floor. Most pt's have just undergone abdominal surgies and have ostomy's, and need sterile dressing changes. In conclusion, I would appreciate any helpful books, even sites that has these clinical procedures, skills.
Thanks for everyone's time,
