Clinic nurse

New grad LPN, just accepted a position in a clinic. I know working in a clinic is different than working on a floor unit, but is there any essentials that you recommend having as a clinic nurse? I want to be prepared for my 1st day. Also, any advice for working in a clinic?

Try and get very familiar immunization schedule, the idea of doing triage both in person and over the phone. IM injections, blood draws, heel sticks and more. It really depends if it’s an adult speciality clinic, family practice, peds or peds speciality.
