Does anyone know about the tuition assistance program at CC? Do they pay the entire nursing program or part of it only? What if you are a part time employee at CC?
I am thinking of starting a job there and after a year would like to complete my BSN in nursing. Only problem is that I would be a full time student and most likely cant work while trying to obtain my degree :/
Does anyone have any tips or advice?? I would LOVE to work for them now and continue to attend college part time....but then eventually when I complete the prereqs......id have to quit CC to go full time.

Are you talking about your BSN? You shouldn't have to quit to go back to school...and you would get no reimbursement. The way reimbursement works is you go to school, they help pay but you owe them time after, if you don't stay the time you owe them, you owe them what they paid.

CCF does $5000 for full time or $2500 for part time a year. However you have to agree to work for a year post reimbursement (or repay the money). You have to have good job performance evals. You also have to be able to write job goals (IDP) that support your reason to take the classes. So depending on your boss or unit they might not agree to pay for the classes.

Well I am cc employee I just completed my bsn last week while working ft. I am not understanding how come you must go part time in order to complete bsn. Are you currently an RN?
Because I haven't started the nursing program as of yet AND my college only does full time nursing....they won't do part time.
Which program are you looking at? All the ones that myself and my coworkers went thru offered part time. The bottom line is that if you quit before you work the time you owe CCF, you have to pay back what they have paid.
