Greetings Ga Nurses! I am applying for Clayton State's BSN Program Spring 2016 session. It would be great to meet others on this similar journey, and hopefully we can support each other on the way. Looking forward to the challenge of Nursing School!

Yes I am planning to attend the spring 2017 I need another school to apply to. Is the teas like the book say it is? And what did u make in teas test? I plan on taking the teas as well.

TEAS is similar to the book and practice test from ATI. you have to purchase the practice test on ATI website.

the highest score I got was 70.

English and science portion was hard for me.. science part have really broad questions..

Do you remember and science questions? Also what is the gpa for gtc? When is the next Kaplan dates or can you take it any time? Also I heard the ACT reading and writing workbook is good for the test and it's on Amazon for $10!

I don't remember exact question but science portion consist of A/P and chemistry question.

you can find the kaplan date on the GTC website but, I am not sure if people from other college can take it in GTC.

you have to get at least 3.0 gpa and 70 and above for Kaplan to apply for ADN at GTC.

and GTC only offers Associate degree nursing program and it is really competitive since they only ACCEPT 60 people in 1 year.

I think average acceptance score would be 3.5 gpa and 85 kaplan. and I think most nursing schools do that..

congrats on your KNAT score :up:....i just want to more a bit of info about the math section. did you have any dosage calculation questions? and how were the questions for this section set up? if you remember.

Above score was not my score, I was giving the average scores to get in to nursing...

I took both kaplan and TEAS and kaplan math was so much easier than TEAS.

for the Kaplan math, most questions were simple math calculation. you can find the similar question on the quizlet.

ja_royal, have you admitted to clayton state?

I applied online, and checked my status online, they required me to submit immnunization and TB screening. do we have to submit these documents also?

I tried to contact them by phone and email, but no one replied to my email.

hey , im transferring to Clayton state in the fall && applying for the nursing program is the spring . just wondering can someone give me some helpful tips about gpa , the knat test && patho && anything else that help you get into the program .
