Clayton State University Spring 2018 Cohort

Hello All,

I am applying for Clayton States Nursing Program for Spring 2018. I just took the Kaplan on the 6th and wanted to see who else is applying with me this semester! I made a 76 on the Kaplan and I have a 3.52 GPA. For anyone else who wants to join this forum on our journey to Nursing School this semester you're more than welcomed !!! Add your stats too !

For those that currently commute to Clayton state university, have you guys thought about getting apartment near campus? My commute is a total of 2.5 hours ( going and coming) and I would love to find people to room with.

Have you all got your certification yet if so where did you all get yours cause I was trying to see where I could go or if I should do it online

If you look through the new admit packet we have to complete it has a list of places and people that offer CPR courses. I just did mine on Monday.

Can we get the CPR certification online and they accept it or do we actually have to go to a center and complete the course?

I'm pretty sure we have to do it in a classroom, because the orientation packet says BLS-classroom

Has anybody found a cheaper health insurance plan than the one offered by the school? I really don't want to pay $1000+ for coverage from January to July. But with the dec 1st deadline fast approaching I may have to. í ½í¸©

Im not sure if we can do it online. But it has to be from American Heart Association. I completed the course at a training center at Norcross for $75

I might just schedule mines with her . How long were the classes and you do get your card the same day right ?

The next class at in Rockdale isn't until December 19th. They only do 1 per month. Clayton state has one December 8th. I'm looking at programs not listed because they really haven't given us enough time to complete with any of the ones I've looked at so far.

Does anyone know what to put on the section that requires a witness signature in the student forms ?
