Clayton State University Fall 2016

Hi guys! I was wondering if anyone is applying to Clayton States Fall cohort. I am scheduled to take the Kaplan on 1/7. I have taken the TEAS at Clayton, and lets just say that DIDN"T go well. I hear the Kaplan is a little better (Reading, Math, Writing, and A & P) I am SOOO nervous! I have pulled multiple resources, and may be over studying, but I want to do well on this exam! I would like to hear from anyone that is applying, or scheduled to take the Kaplan.

Hello everyone, what do your last names start with (people who have gotten emails or calls)? I thought they sent out rejection letters in early March? So is it correct that they have not sent them out yet?

Quenna, my last name starts with a D. I didn't think that it might be alphabetical now.

I don't know what the interview will be like. I want to think that it's going to be easy and fast.

I was nervous too, but it was very simple. Know about the school, why nursing, how you deal with stress and weakness and strength. All questions was basic!

Everyone still waiting? Does anyone have any idea when we'll hear back?

Edit: I just checked the chat board for this time last year and they got their letters at the end of April. So probably 2 more weeks it looks like. That's disappointing.

I spoke with Christy Hicks and she said letters would be sent out at the end of this week, and we should receive them sometime next week.

I got an acceptance letter. Anyone else on here?

Also, does anyone have any idea how things are weighted? Like does KAPLAN count more than GPA? Or the interview? One of my friends had a good GPA (better than mine) and a higher than average KAPLAN, and still go wait listed. I'm just trying to make sense of it because I thought if I got in, then she definitely would.

I got accepted as well! ask your friend if she have all course requirements and if she have it, maybe she need to go to the advisor and ask! My GPA is 3.57 and I did not do well on the kaplan but I completed all the classes and did well on the interview. one of my friend told me that they look into since and math GPA separately from total GPA. so I highly recommend to see her advisor and ask what is happening! and sometimes if she is waiting list they might contact her on the last minuet! Good Luck to her and I hope she will get in!!!!

Good day all.... Does anyone have any idea when orientation will be? I have been checking the website, and all I see is 'check back next week'
