Hey! I am just starting this forum to see who else is applying for Clayon State's Spring 2012 BSN Program. I just applied and now the waiting begins..

Hey kayswiss3 welcome to the forum! Your stats are really good so you should defnately get in! They first take the top 75 and rank them and then call for interviews next. Then the interviews happen and they accept 60 nd wait list 15:/ I'm super nervous too!! I wonder when we might hear something?

I sure hope I get in. I just keep wondering when we will hear something. This waiting game is driving me crazy! I saw from some earlier posts that only 100 or so people applied - is that true? Is there a way we can find that information out?

That was a while ago but the advisors told me there were 200 total applicants. Yes email or go see the advisors because my friend was told that they should have more info this week about the rankings and stuff. So I'm thinking we will get called/emailed for interviews at the end of this week or beginning of next maybe. My advisor told me that all decisions should be made in 3-4 weeks and that was last Monday so the process should be starting soon I'm hoping!! Yeah the wait is awful!!!

I just sent an email to the new advisor Karin Carlton. She said that they are still reviewing applications, and they plan to have that process completed in 2 weeks.... I guess I will try to stop stressing out for now.. And wait until around the 10th of October to start freaking out.

omg are you serious!? so they probably won't even call for interviews for another 2 weeks? thats forever!! haha

Hey I am new to the forum aswell. I talked to my advisor and she said that final decisions will be made before registration starts, so that means between now and then we will have not only had (hopefully) our interviews but also they will make the determination of who is in based on the interview. I was told we would hear about the interview sooner rahter than later. Good luck all! :)

I don't think they will take as long with us like they did with the Fall 2011 class. Those students had the entire summer to get their books, unifroms, supplies, cpr certification, etc. When accepted, we will only have a 1 1/2 months to get ready. The interview process and final decisions should come quickly!

Hey tm0311 and higherpuropse welcome to the forum! Tm0311 did you advisor say around what time we might be getting calls for interviews? What are yalls stats?

Yeah I'm thinking we will be hearing something in the next week or two as far as calls fir interviews go. Are you taking any of the nursing electives right now?
