Clarkson CRNA 2019

Published

I am applying to Clarkson's CRNA program for next fall 2019's start date. I don't presently reside in Nebraska, so I'm hoping to connect with other prospective candidates through here! I think it'd be great to start a forum for support, questions, and information sharing!

A little about me: My name is Rachel. I'm a CTICU nurse at Tampa General Hospital. Originally from the Midwest and planning to move to the Omaha area early next year.

Excited to hear from others planning to apply!

It looks like the timeline last year offers were made within a week of interview and wait list emails went out the week after.

This wait period has been killer already! I feel like it's waiting to hear about nursing school acceptance x1000000000! Hoping we hear this week!

Agreed, did you apply anywhere else?

I didn't. Clarkson just really clicked with me, so I focused all of my efforts on building my app/profile around their program. If not offered a seat this cycle, though, I do plan to apply to Bryan next year. How about you?

I'm in the same boat, relocating to Omaha in 2 months so would like to eventually get into either Clarkson or Bryan.

I am hoping to take a travel assignment in Lincoln within the next month or so, relocating from Tampa! Hopefully our paths cross!

Y'all. This waiting is killing me. Lol. Anyone heard anything?

Right?? I'd take the nerves of the entire process up to this point x 1000 over this wait! Haha I haven't heard a peep but plan to post any updates/info I find out! Like Anaaicu said, when looking at last year's forum, it looks like they heard the Tuesday following interviews. I'm hopeful this means we will hear this week, although the program coordinator did stress to me after my interview how incredibly off the chain competition is this year (which, kudos to us for raising the bar, guys!) Keeping my fingers crossed for us all!

Just received TWO offers from Clarkson: one for the last master's and one for the first doctorate. I'm so conflicted. Anyone in the same boat!? I'm so beside myself. I have to be dreaming.

How did they notify you? I haven't heard anything yet.

Dr. Glow called me from Clarkson's main number.

I did too! What did you decide MSN or DNP? Congrats :)

Congrats to you!!! I'm 90% decided on sticking with master's. In the work force sooner. Can always transition later. What about you?
