Hello everyone! Anyone out there applied for Clarkson College’s MSN FNP program for Fall 2021?

Also, is anyone currently enrolled in their program? If so, how is the program? How far along are? What are your thoughts?

Bump.

I just received my admission e-mail and accepted the spot for this Fall!! Anyone else get accepted at Clarkson College?
I’m so excited to start and would love to connect with future classmates! ?

Came across your post and was wondering how the program has been? How was the application process? I have been looking for PHMNP programs and found that Clarkson has one, I know your in the FNP but do they help with placing your for clinical sites or are you on your own?

Hello!

I will be applying for Summer 2022. Wondering if anyone has any pointers who have already completed the program or is in it currently? Any advice will be appreciated.  Thanks!

I am completing the MSN-FNP program now. My advise, join the Clarkson NP group on facebook and find quizlets from former students. Also, start looking for preceptors early! Especially for peds and woman’s health. Good luck!

Thanks so much for the advice! Will do! And congratulations on completing the program!!

How was school here? Very difficult? Got my acceptance :)

Congrats! I still have one more year to go; I am starting my first clinical next week. Some classes are more difficult than others and require more studying, but it is very doable (I've been taking three classes a semester rather than the normal schedule of two). I am only working part-time though so I have more time to dedicate to school. As someone suggested, you can ask to join the Clarkson College NP group on facebook. It is a great resource for classes, study suggestions, and picking the brain of other students. Good luck.
