Hello everyone! Has anyone had experience with the MSN programs at Clarion University of PA? I am interested in the nursing education track. I'd like to know what previous or current students or those who know previous or current students have to say about the program.
Thank you!

I may not be the best as I only have undergraduate from them.
They are the ones connected w/my nursing school. I did my co-reqs w/them. I missed getting my ADN through them by one class as I decided after semester 1 to roll my psych in. I was told if I go on for my BSN through them, I'd be awarded the ADN after the 1st class. After my experiences with them, I'm taking my continuing education elsewhere.
I did think the A and P courses were outstanding. She pushed us hard, however I heard from some of the grads after us that took the advanced patho from Clarion it was a nightmare compared to other Univ that they knew.
So that coupled with some other bad handling of classes, poor teaching in some, unclear expectations, and a disaster of a Logic class that they ended up firing the prof but only after we were driven nearly mad from his beyond eccentric methods of teaching that made absolutely no sense to anyone. He had a grandiose preception of self and knew that he wasn't clear in class so he'd try to meet students at his favorite coffee haunt for better explanations:uhoh3: That was one nerve wracking class that never should have been.
So anyway, maybe the graduate program is different as the classes may not be smashed into 10 weeks. I don't know but I'm looking elsewhere. Mainly Duquense and especially Carlow which I've heard good things about, and in fact those that took the BSN through Clarion, switched to the MSN through Carlow, not sure if that says something or not. YMMV.
