Hi everybody! I thought I could start a thread for those applying to UTHealth Cizik school of Nursing for Summer 26. Share stats and information as we hopefully get accepted!

Hi, what electives did y'all choose for the prerequisites? I don't know which courses I should take.

hi guys I'm reapplying again after getting rejected from the Spring cohort. Is the Summer cohort also difficult to get accepted in too?

no problem! I have a 3.2 GPA and a 3.0 science GPA with a 91.3% on the TEAS. I'm honestly scared since I probably should've retaken A&P I lecture, but I was too late for registration.

You have high TEAS grade. It will be plus point.

My stats are 3.659 GPA and 89.3% on TEAS. I applied for Summer 2026. How likely will I be accepted and when will I know?

My overall GPA was a 3.8, TEAS was 75, and a month of CNA and some childcare working experience. Do you guys think it's possible to get in with these stats? I've called the school and they said competitive TEAS scores is 75 or higher but I've seen some post that people got turned away with higher scores, hopefully these stats are good enough for them 😕
