I'm a civilian nurse with med/surg experience looking to work on an overseas USAF base. I was wondering if anyone can give any advice on the possibility of doing this and steps that are required before this can be done? Would love to hear any advice or past experiences!
thanks!

Search for jobs on USAjobs.gov and apply. Be prepared to wait - some of the postings are continuously open and applying puts you into an applicant pool hiring managers might tap into. I applied for such a position at Landstuhl and ironically received an email asking me to interview just as I had been selected for active duty in the Army. It had been many months since I had applied for the civilian position. But it is possible!
Found a couple of links for you. The first is a multiple-location opening, and the second one is in Germany. :)

The second one closes in a few days! Relocation is authorized.
