Who else is waiting for admission to City Tech Spring 2018? If the past is any indicator we should be hearing back within 2 weeks.

I had 3.5 and 81 on teas
hi,I got an e-mail that said I was accepted to the program on Wednesday. I did not receive anything in the mail yet. My pre-req was around 3.5-3.6 and i got a 72 on teas. My overall gpa was pretty low.
I just got acceptance letter, can't wait to start classes.
Congrats on your acceptance! I have a question, how did you prepare for the TEAS to ensure a high test grade? I have the sixth edition TEAs practice book by Kaplan. I plan to take the TEAS next month, in April.
How long did you both study, any tips for studying for the exam and actual test taking strategies? Thank you!
hi Danni. I didnt have much time to study for Teas and was very worried about Science part since i was in the middle of taking AP1; teas ask you info from ap1 and 2. I got 70 on science partially by figuring out the right answers and from some basic knowledge i picked up over the years. For math i just glanced over the rules how to do certain problems, all this is basic knowledge from junior and high school. Reading/english part just have to know vocabulary and read passages carefully. i got 87 on both math and english parts. Teas wasnt very hard to be honest, it's all the info you know or should know upon graduating from high school. If i spent more time practicing i probably would have gotten in the 90s. Take the practice exam book provides and based on the results you will be able to see where your weak parts are and then concentrate on practicing that. teas really asks very basic stuff so dont freak out. good luck!
