City Tech Fall 2021

Hey everyone! I was wondering if anyone has sent in their applications to get into the nursing program for fall semester 2021? 
I just sent mine in and I can’t wait until June!

They sent out emails about acceptances this morning so check your city tech email

Girl I’m gonna assume you got in. I also got  rejected. Transfer student. Raised all the grades I could by taking child psych. Couldn’t raise my English score because it’s as high as I could go. English B, Child Psych A, Math A, Anatomy A, TEAS 81.3%

Wait, what?? You got rejected with almost 3.8 and 81.3 on TEAS???? Can anyone explain how this happened???????

was your transfer GPA low by any chance?

Hey what was your GPA if u don't mind me askin for the pre reqs cause your grades looks really great to me

No something is not right… she mentioned child psych but that’s not a part of pre req GPA…. I really hope she confused something. Otherwise we’re all doomed. Are they accepting only 4.0s now???

No u can use child psych and sub that for psych 1101. You can sub any course for the pre reqs for example mat 1190 for mat 1275,  english 1102 for 1101. So no shes not confusing anything u can do that if u want to

Oh. OK. I knew you could sub but didn’t realize that goes for psych as well. But anyway, it’s really bad then..

Can you sub math 1375 (pre calculus) with calculus?

Math 1375??? You mean mat 1275 right and no u cant sub calc for that. Theres a flyer with classrs on the city tech website that lets you know what you can sub for each class.

Sorry, I meant if you can substitute 1275  with calculus. I just read it. You can substitute math 1275 with 1475. Thanks.
