City Tech Fall 2018

I just applied for the nursing program at city tech for Fall 2018. Gpa 3.53 and teas 69. Any chances i have of getting in guys?

haha yes the anxiety is strong. i took all the pre-reqs and gen-reqs besides AP2. after AP2, it's all nursing from there on out (that's *if* I get in). good luck everyone! gonna be checking my mailbox like crazy this week

I did everything too, it is better to do it before, all we have to do, is to get in and survive....LOL. good luck!

Totally agree. I have a few people in my micro class that were already in yhe program, and they looked like zombies.

I was a transfer student, i had to be a resident in school for a semester to apply, so it worked out great for me.

I'm patiently waiting for acceptance letters for come as well. I think last year the letters came out either jun 3 or 4th so.. it very well could be any day now. hopefuly!

I'm curious as to whether they consider the gpa asa whole or just the gpa from those prereqs. If it's just from the prereqs do they not even look at the overall?

Yes only 4 prerequisites gpa, but I was thinking, if they have a lot of candidates maybe they are checking overall too? to see students general academic standing. They have to pick up only 70 students. I could be wrong or it is a stress......
