City College of San Francisco (CCSF) - 2025 applicants

Updated:   Published

Hello, everyone.

I applied to the RN program at CCSF.

I understand that it may take some time to receive a decision, based on past experiences.

I hope to start in Fall Semester 2025 once I receive the good news.

We can discuss the application process and share any available information.

Good luck!

Is your guy's myRAM portal down?

yes

To those who are concerned whether they did lottery or best scores - I think they did lottery for now. I have 2 friends who received acceptance letters and their final scores are within the range of 50 to 70.

Hello all

I got my acceptance letter today at 1:29 pm to my personal email. I will be declining as I already got accepted closer to my home , hopefully one of you guys gets the spot. Congratulations to all accepted , if anyone is interested my stats were 4.0 science GPA and a 3.77 cumulative , 98 TEAS , working CNA , and bilingual.

I received standby letter last Monday 4/28/25. Does anyone know how many they pick from the standby list in the past?

I'd assume from all the people who've said they've been accepted and their specs that if any of the two categories were chosen it'd be based off Merritt not Lottery. Being bilingual, CNA/MA, decent GPA, decent to high TEAS - these would all earn you a lot of points because CNAs/MAs also have a lot of hours which gives even more points. They very well could've chosen people from both categories also though. We are only seeing a partial population of people that applied on here so not everyone who got in is on allnurses. Getting in isn't the end all be all and if nursing school means that much to you guys I'd highly suggest looking out of state their program cost are very cheap and it wouldn't take very long. Even SoCal has more programs than the Bay Area. I'm not sure how hard it is to get into Sac but maybe even there. I have my Bachelor degree and always wanted to work in medical as a doctor or nurse but nothing wrong with reevaluating your goals. It doesn't mean they'll change but look at the bright side. Sometimes I see the mental stress and family sacrifice nurses and doctors make. They are more likely to be on the frontline of major health crisis and they're pretty burnt out by doctors, the hospital directors, the system and patients. After you reevaluate, if you still want it then be patient and find more ways to make it happen. Apply to tons of schools everywhere and you never know where life will take you! Good luck to everyone in getting in and their journey.

Did everyone on standby list get an email attached with health requirement forms? Also email says do all the health requirements beforehand except TB Review form which is time sensitive so should be done once the acceptance letter sent out? Please advise if this a generic email that all the standby list gets?

Anyone accepted to Fall 2025 wanting to start Spring 2026? Message me!!

I got into Spring 2026 and was hoping to start Fall.

Were you on a standby list first and then got an acceptance letter?
