Dexamethasone 8 mg orally (PO) for 2 to 3 days post chemotherapy- Metoclopramide 10 mg PO one to two tablets every 4 to 6 hours when required

but does not really help for his nausea although he does not experience vomiting, what will be the nursing intervention as a nurse after considering the MASSC anti-emesis tool?Is he having delayed nausea?

( he is on adjuvant chemotherapy that includes Fluorouracil and have already had his first cycle of chemo, on 8th day)

What are your thoughts? In order for us to help you, it would be beneficial to know what you've already found and where it is you're stuck. We do ask that students show their work rather than simply post a question.
