I just started a new rotation with a new instructor. I have only had one experience with her so far. But I would just like input about her surfing the net at travel pages during clinicals. :typing I have never had this kind of experience before so it's new to me. Just seems kinda well I don't know, wrong. Thoughts?

I'm surprised that your CI has the time to do that. We have 10 people in my med-surg clinical, so we have to have two instructors and they are both always busy.

imho it's unprofessional and sets a bad example, but and there is always a but. this is your clinical instructor and
1. the instructor you have vs. the one you could have had or will have by complaining could be much worse.
2. you could wind up with the same one again in the future and if you complain now how could that affect you in the future.
3. this person has the power to pass/fail you.
we have a person who runs to the dean about our clinical instructor at the drop of a hat and now our entire clinical group is paying the cost.
