HELLO! I just got hired as a PNS- professional nursing student at Santa Rosa Downtown SA. I pretty much do CNA work, but Im not complaining because it is good experience for me. I wanted to know what people thought about working there as an RN??? Is it a pretty good place to work? Or are there better hospitals in the SA area??

Hi, congrats, I was wondering how you got that particular position. I have never heard of a PNS, did you go in to get the job or apply online? I would love to hear all the details you can offer. I applied to a couple different hospitals and did not get a call back. I have completed one year of nursing school and am getting ready for the 2nd semester. Thanks!

I'm an extern at Methodist and I love it. I have a friend that works as a brand new RN at Santa Rosa and likes it so far. Sorry I'm not more help but that's all I got. Best of luck.

Mandeeh- I went to heavenlycareers.com and applied for the PNS position. Or you can call the human resources office and ask for some more info. If you have never worked in a hospital before it is a really good experience. Good Luck with it!!

Thanks for the info guys, I really appreciate it. I think I'm going to wait until school starts to see how this semester goes before I start trying to get a job.
