Christus San Antonio advertising RN jobs in other states

Published

Hi,

I am a new grad RN in Wisconsin. I graduated in May and am having a hard time finding a job anywhere here in WI.

While doing job searches, Christus hospitals keeps coming up. Looking through their MANY available RN jobs, I don't see any mention of needing experience or their willingness to hire new grads. On the advertisements they say relocation money is a possibility, but when I apply for the jobs there is no mention of relocation.

Anyone work for this company and have any info on their new grad hiring practices? Any other info about their hospitals would be great!

CHRISTUS Santa Rosa utilizes the Versant program for new grads. As far as I know, that is the only way for a new grad to enter the organization. Their centralized HR department represents multiple hospitals in that area. It is a large Catholic health system sponsored by the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word. They were the first hospital in San Antonio & also are associated with the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio. Relocation assistance is seldom included in any preliminary application. Have you actually talked to a nurse recruiter? That is probably where you could obtain the additional information you need. Call their HR department and ask to speak with the recruiter.

Good luck to you.

Thanks for all the info! I will call the HR dept tomorrow!
