Christmas shopping!!

I thought I was on a winner this year, all my presents bought and wrapped and not a single one held together with mircropore, but no! That would be to easy...

My dad has just informed me that he hasn't yet got my mum anything for him, so tomorrow I have to find a convincing excuse for my mum and slip off to face the Christmas crowds! I was ready to scream when my dad told me!

And did I mention I can not lie to my mum at all? I can try but she alwasy knows, my dad says He'll leave me some money which, is good considering the only money I have at the minute is left over Euros and an Ilse of white fifty pence!

So my dad's giving me the money instead of me having to go and pray to the hole in the wall, works out well, but one slight problem.... I have no change for parking... and it isn't like I can borrrow some from my mum!

So my plan of action is to either beg, borrow from my sister, or go into town and hope that I can find a space in one of the pay as you go car parks!

So, how's everyone elses Christmas preparations going???

Just remind me it will all be worth it in the end right?

I just finished my Christmas shopping tonight having braved the blizzard and the icy roads. I just have to wrap it all now :o

Good luck with finding a parking space - I gave up the other day and got a bus into town. Why do people go so crazy at Christmas time?

Oh! I love wrapping, it is my job to wrap al my families various gifts, apart form my own, and then let them write the gift tags...

I hated it last year when I couldn't, and I didn't have time to wrap my gifts nicely,

Oh, and no need to hunt for parking spaces, I was going to get the train, but I am not sure if it it was snow or leaves but they were cancelled, so I truged back home, my mum caught me, and rang my dad to say it isn't fair for him to leave it me at the last minute!

But he managed (by some miracle) to get her a pressent, and I'll be wrapping it up later:)
