So I dont know if there is anyone who is from southern NH or knows the area. But I have a question about their program, I cant seem to get a straight answer. St. Joseph School Of Nursing offers a Practical Nursing Program & an Associate of science program for RN.
Now for the RN program you need Microbiology & Sociology...but I dont see those in their cirriculum for the Practical Nursing Program. Does that mean they want you to go to another school for that??
Ahh, Im applying to 3 schools.. NHCTC Nashua, Rivier, and thinking of St. Joseph's. I need alot of science and math out of the way before getting accepted into NHCTC or Rivier. So Im confused on what to do.. take 2 years getting these done and MAYBE getting accepted into the program, due to small number of spots..or go to st joseph's and get the LPN and get some experience.
Sorry for the long thread..i dont know what direction to go in, or whats best. Right now I have my Associates Degree in Early childhood Education from NHCTC Nashua. So in high school and college i didnt do too much of the science and math programs required for the RN programs.
Thanks for reading :)

Are you too far from Gardner, MA? Mt. Wachusett (www.mwcc.edu) is down there and that's where I'm going... took the pre-reqs there, also. Decent teachers, and I think the cost is comparable to NHCTC.
A friend took micro at the NHCTC in Nashua and transferred credits down to the Mount.
