I am about to start my career in travel nursing. I have no idea who to choose because everyone offers different incentives. Every time I google reviews for the companies I'm interested in choosing I find a lot of negative reviews so I really need some life lines here to at least point me in the direction of an agency who I can count on and treats their staff well. Anything helps. Thanks and Happy Holidays!

Hi travel_newbie! Choosing the right agency can be a difficult and daunting process. They can seem similar- so ask yourself, what sort of stability can this agency afford me? Do they offer benefits, if any? Does this agency have the maximum number of contracts I can choose from? Is the recruiter friendly/ professional?
I am a Staffing Manager at Supplemental Health Care. Just because many nurses write negative reviews about the agencies, does not mean the agency doesn't have great staff and support! I get positive reviews from my nurses constantly about how I helped them explore Phoenix, Arizona and all the contracts we have to offer here.
If you find yourself in Phoenix, don't hesitate to stop by! [email protected], 602-567-9881
Thank you for your comment. If I find myself in Phoenix I will give you a call

Hey there! Welcome to the stressful world of traveling! It can be stressful at time and confusing but I don't regret ever leaving my staff job for it!
All agencies are different and do things different. One thing to be aware of is AMN Healthcare. They have SEVERAL companies that are under the umbrella and all of them are a bit different in pay, benefits, etc. but all have access to the same jobs.
It's not always so much the agency that is important but your recruiter can make your assignment or break your assignment. Some are very hands off and some are so involved that you might want to strangle them. It's all personal preference.
