Hi all,

Just wanted to start up another forum for CHLA's Versant New Grad RN Program for the March 2013 cohort. Here's a link to CHLA's page: http://www.chla.org/site/c.ipINKTOAJsG/b.3579535/k.2A87/RN_Residency__Pediatrics_Nurse__RN_Versant.htm

The online app should only be open for a few more days apply now and GOOD LUCK!

@pb22 i took it! It's not bad.. Pretty easy and basic just really long! I honestly didnt study for it. But FYI we do need to score 100% :)

Thanks! I took it yesterday and it definitely wasn't bad at all

I was wondering if everyone who received job offers precepted in Peds? I have friends who want to apply for the next cohort but precepted in adult ICU.

@newgradsteph I had a 4 week clinical rotation in peds and that was it! :)

yah i only had 5 weeks in peds as well during my rotations. i don't even have a bsn! i have a bachelor's in something else. Tell them to apply!!

what do we need to bring for the physical? i just want to make sure i have everything!!!

From what I remember you need two forms of ID to show you can work in the U.S. legally, immunization records (MMR, Tdap, etc.), 2 step TB test, flu vaccine, RN license, and BLS CPR card.

Great thank u so much !!

Awesome! I will definitely encourage them to apply. I wrote down that we need these items: 2 step tb, 2 forms of ID, MMR, RN license, CPR for healthcare provider from American heart association.

I should track down my tdap and flu vaccine to be safe; however, I didn't note from my conversation with HR that we needed them. Thanks for heads up!

I actually didn't have a current flu vaccine and they gave me one right then and there! So whatever vaccine you're missing they'll give you it!

hey guys! the physical is in the HR office is that correct?
