Childrens Nursing and Midwifery

Hi everyone..

Hope ur not all sick of my annoying course questions already!!!

Was just wondering if it's possible to progress onto a Midwifery course after completing a DipHE Child Nursing. If so, how long does that take?

Hi

If your talking about doing the short 18 month course then, no, you cant do it from a Child Nursing qualification only from Adult Nursing. If your a Childrens nurse (or any other type apart from adult/rgn) and are interested in doing midwifery you would have to complete the full 3 years training.
