Hi everyone! I just wanted to know if anyone has any advice or information about getting hired as a new grad at childrens national? All the posts on here are from 10 years ago. Any tips and information would be great!

I currently work at Children’s! I would definitely be specific in your cover letter and make sure you directly state what your interests are and what unit you’re applying to. If you’re interested in doing one of the ICU’s it would look good to get your PALS certification. Otherwise just be prepared for them to possibly surprise phone interview (that’s what I got) after I submitted my application.
Oh thats super helpful! Thank you! How long did it take for them to contact you after you applied?

Hi @tcu7871 ! Did you end up getting the job? I'm in my last year of nursing school and will definitely be applying to CNMC new grad programs- and I'm really nervous about it! I just wanted to see if you went through the whole interview process, new grad stuff, etc. Thanks!

Hello! I applied for the PICU at Childrens National. It is my dream job. Unfortunatley, I did not have PICU tech experence. What can I do to increase my chances? I requested a shadow day through human resources.
sorry just realized your post was from MONTHS AGO..hope you got it!
