Childrens National Medical Center Nurse Residency Summer 2018

Hi everyone! I just applied to CNMC's Nurse Residency Program for Summer 2018 and was thinking we could start a thread for any updates throughout the application process. I was wondering if anyone knows when the deadline is for applying and when we should be hearing about interviews? Also can we apply to more than one unit? Thanks!!

Congratulations on the job offer!

Sooo my application stated that it was completed not long after I interviewed. I emailed a few days after saying thank you and asking a specific questions about the program. And then again emailed a nurse manager 3 weeks after that saying thank you again and asking for an update. After about 2 more weeks I emailed the nurse recruiter email and asked if I could possibly get a time line of how things go after an interview. I never got any responses but a month after my application was changed to completed it was changed to no longer under consideration.

It's been 6 weeks now so I'm sure I didn't get the position. I know that it's a large hospital with many applicants, but am I wrong in thinking that since I actually interviewed in person I should've gotten SOME kind of update. Or least an e-mail saying "Sorry we've decided to not extend an offer" or something?

Thank you! I do believe you should have gotten some sort of correspondence regarding your current status. Maybe try calling HR and ask to be put in contact with the senior nurse recruiter- S****** H***?
