Children's National DC Nurse Residency Spring 2022

Hi! I didn't see a thread on here for the Spring 2022 Nurse Residency at Children's National in DC, so I thought I'd start one! Has anyone applied/heard back yet?!

Hey! I applied to a few of the Nurse Residency positions at Children's National but have not heard back yet. Have you?

I have had my interview with Hem/Onc and Neuro so far. I am still waiting to hear back from a few other positions. How is everyone's interview process going?

Had an interview with neuro! I’m hoping to hear from the CVICU and the PICU soon.

I got a call yesterday and scheduled a interview with the NICU. Can you guys tell me about your interviews?! I’m so nervous

Also got a call for NICU! Have my interview with them on Tues. If anyone has feedback re: interviews, lmk ?

Hey there! It went well - there were three people who interviewed me and I had a chance to ask questions as well. They asked me why Children's and gave me the run-down of their program. They then asked a couple behavioral/situational questions. All-in-all it took about an hour. Good luck!

Yay!! I’m glad it went well!! I’m getting ready for mine now! Did they say what the next steps were?

I applied to the Summer/fall residency (applications opened Jan 10 and I applied right around then). How long did it take to hear back?

Hi! I applied on Jan 13th and heard back the next day. Good luck!

Hey!!

I applied In October for the Spring cohort.. then again in January 18 for the fall cohort and heard back on January 21. But in my interview she said I would start in the Spring cohort
