Children's Hospital in San Diego

Hi everyone (=
I was just wondering if there are any RN's that work in the NICU at Children's hospital in San Diego? How do you like working there?Just curious? I was just hired there as a new grad for the Febuary 14th new grad internship. The training seems really good because it lasts 5 months. I am VERY excited to have gotten a job there and can't wait to start. Do any of the experienced NICU nurses know of any good books I can get on the NICU so I can get a head start.

Hi Virgo: San Diego Rn here. I work for County Mental Health, which is downsizing/budget crisis. I work as a Psychiatric RN in a out-pt. clinic.

Children's Hospital has a great reputation. Was thinking of working there myself to help kids and families deal with emotions. If u hear anything about a job there like what I described, let me know.

Don't have any info for you but would love for you to keep me posted. That is my goal of where I want to work when I am finished.

Sure I will keep you guys posted on how it goes there. It must be a great place to work when you figure that many of the nurses there have been there for many,many years.
