Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) RN Residency July 2023 Cohort

Nurses Residency

Published

Hi everyone,

I couldn't find a thread for CHLA's July 2023 cohort so I wanted to start one. Good luck to everyone applying!

Following to see how everyones round 1 interviews go!

Can someone link me to the log in page ?

Did anyone receive the Teams link for the interview???

@chimommaRN they are sending them two days before the date you scheduled. When is yours?

How do you guys think your interview went?

Specializes in L&D.

Just had my first interview... they said stay close to the phone and I will receive a call if I made it to round 2.

Interviewed today.. I think because they didn't open with a direct "tell me about yourself" I feel like I left out a lot. Other than that, it was a nice interview with really friendly (CHLA-like) educators. Would love to hear about everyone else's!

I have my interview tomorrow, will update later! @chimommaRN That's super interesting they didn't start with the "tell me about yourself" question, if you don't mind me asking, were the questions super basic or similar to the questions from the short answers?

@chimommaRN same! I felt like a left out a lot but they were so nice!

Same! My interview was only about 8 minutes long which is my shortest interview I have ever done. I feel like I left out a lot but everyone was super sweet

Just had my interview, very brief, mines lasted for 13 minutes. Overall, the educators were super nice, and it was the most enjoyable interview I've had.

I hear from previous year's interviews that the questions are the same from the application. Are people coming up with new responses or rewording their original?
