Children's Health Dallas October 2020 Nurse Residency

Hi all! I wanted to start this thread for anyone who applied for the Children's Dallas Nurse Residency October 2020. Good Luck ?

When/how did you apply to Children's nurse residency? I have been checking since March and never found a job posting. I attended a Q&A about a week and a half ago and they said they were unsure if they were going to hire for the October 2020 cohort.

I applied on their website June 20. It did not seem to be up for more than a few days. I only knew because I had a LinkedIn notification. It was listed under "Registered Nurse" and in the description it listed that it was for the October 2020 residency. Now my application says inactive so I am unsure of what that means.

Apparently the residency is on pause at the moment due to COVID :/

Thank you! I wonder why the application popped up in the first place!

I applied as well and talked to the recruiter. He told me the app popped up just Incase they do decide to have a residency. They would just choose from the selection they have. But he’s 95% sure residency is cancelled until February
