Children's Colorado New Grad Residency November 2022

Hey just wanted to start a thread for those that applied for the November 2022 cohort for Children's Colorado Nurse Residency Program since I didn't see one started anywhere. Has anyone who applied heard anything yet?

Yes it was the recruiter not anyone from the unit! And no I only heard from NICU and I just checked my portal and there aren't any changes it still says submitted and there weren't any notificatios or anything!

Hi! 

I applied for this cohort and I just heard back for an interview with the CPCU. Just as an FYI to relieve any stress, I applied for the last cohort as well and didn't hear back for an interview until around this time and my interview was actually for the week after the originally-stated week since they were running behind based on the number of applicants they have. I'm sure that everyone will start hearing back at least from the Anschutz campus in the next week or so.

Hey there! congrats! thanks for the info! yeah I applied to the PICU and General Medicine unit and still have not heard anything from them. Did you get a phone call or an email about it?

I got a phone call! Also I'm not sure if it will be the same this time around but last round I only got an interview with my top choice and from what I was reading most people only got one interview. I did email them and ask if I will be considered for my second choice still or not so if I hear back I can let you know.

Okay great! Yeah please let me know as I am curious on whether we only get one interview or not. I was under the impression we got 2 interviews or were going to be considered for both of our top units.

Just wanted to see how everyone’s interviews went and if they have heard back at all from any unit about offers?

@blebo I got and accepted an offer from the CS PICU yesterday afternoon! I think they will have to decide across the board by Monday from what I was told in my interviews

That is awesome! congrats! I had my interview Thursday afternoon with the pulmonary medicine unit at the aurora campus and was told I would hear back later next week from the hiring manager but could possibly hear sooner. so fingers crossed!

@um22 do you know how many people in general they usually select to interview and how many they typically hire from interviews like across the board?
