Hi all! I didn't see a topic for the upcoming semester yet so I thought I'd start one. I just submitted my app with 91 pts (I think) since my dental assisting experience points are determined by committee decision. Anyone else?

As long as you uploaded your high school transcripts under program materials in NursingCAS then I'm not sure why you didn't get the points. Sorry!

No, I didn't. I graduated high school in 2003 so I did not upload them and the website said 2 years of college or 3 years of high school so I thought the college transcripts would be sufficient. Eek. Waiting waiting.

Not sure if you're asking me but I actually did get an email today offering me a seat from the alternate list! I'm so excited! Just got the packet today and it looks like I have some work to do! Haha. Looking forward to meeting you all in a month!

Thats awesome! Happy it all worked out. Also, when do register for classes? I have to wait for the packet in the mail since I'm not from the area. Don't want to miss anything lol

Looks like we register for classes on 1/3 and orientation is on 1/23. In the mean time we have to get proof of all vaccines, CPR certification and some other things together and submitted by 1/13. Where are you from?

By the way, my name is Vicki. I'm here in Chico so if there's any way I can help with the transition, let me know. Also, I don't have an extra bedroom but I do have a couch available if you are coming up to look at apartments, etc and need a place to crash. Goes for all of you coming from out of the area.

I had a question about the clinicals. Does one stay at a site the whole semester or is it spread out over the area? How are clinicals on a weekly basis? Thank you!
